The journal Studium, Philosophy and Theology invites submissions for articles to be published in the special issue of the first semester of 2026:

 

Rethinking Knowledge: 

Philosophical and Epistemological Perspectives on Artificial Intelligence

Guest Editor: Gustavo Riesgo

This special issue aims to deepen the critical analysis of Artificial Intelligences (AI) from a philosophical and epistemological perspective, exploring their relationship with knowledge, the nature of intelligence, and the limits of rationality. We invite reflection on AI both as a formal object of computer science and in its dimension as an applied technology, where it acts as a collaborative tool that drives paradigm-shifting transformations in the spheres of human thought and action. This approach seeks to promote interdisciplinary dialogue that, from philosophy and epistemology, sheds light on the gnoseological and ontological challenges emerging from the integration of AI and society, offering a broader and more nuanced understanding of its role in the contemporary world.

We accept submissions in Spanish, English, French, Italian, Portuguese, and German.

Submission deadline: 10/30/2025
