Abstract

The article “The Foundation of our options” inquires into the question of “why we choose that we choose”. It is the result of the readings realized in the Center of Studies In Veritatem about the subjects of free will and choice act. It belongs to the will, but the intelligence does not remain outside that correspond to her other moments of the mechanism of the human act. The work aims to also consider the sensibility or passions as factors that infl uence in our decisions as also do the circumstances and the context. It concludes with the relevance of freedom in the morality and the law.
