Abstract

This article purports to report the presence of natural law on the texts of II Vatican Council. Natural law is very important in contemporary Church magisterium, although it is philosophically and culturally contradicted. No matter the few appearences of the term “natural law”, the Council presents many references and remarks that open the way to a richer formulation of natural law and its implications. Besides, it is possible to highlight some pastoral consequences of the current use of the concept of natural law.
