Filosofia medieval e filosofia atual

Abstract

My presentation is divided in two sections: First, I will present an outlook of the situation of Medieval Philosophy in Brazil. Bearing in mind that Higher Education was installed in the country less than a century ago and that teacher training was regulated less than 40 years ago, it is safe to state that there was a great improvement in this area. In the second part, I will first focus on the situation of XXI century philosophy, where there is evidence that many registers from the past are being neglected. Later, I will discuss what does making Medieval Philosophy these days means.
