Aportaciones y límites de Verdad y Método de Gadamer
Keywords:
hermeneutics, feasibility, poetization, ethics, GadamerAbstract
The author approaches Gadamer’s Truth and Method’s contributions to contemporary hermeneutic philosophy from a historic and systematic point of view.
Specially, its peculiar way of understanding reason as “experiential reason” in the wide spectrum of practical philosophy. He explores its limits having in mind the development of Gadamer’s later thinking in the direction of “critical hermeneutics”. He proposes, in the end, a revision of Truth and Method taking as a point of departure other instances, from the nietzschean perspective and Hispanic philosophy (Ortega and Zubiri), towards a hermeneutics ethic that, taking feasibility as a point of departure, keeps its critical sense.
