This article proposes to analyze the parliamentary work of the democratic legislators between 1983 and 1991, observing particularly the main tasks of their agendas, the relationship of the lines of action developed with their political sector within the party and in broader terms, with some of the main debates that crossed the new political configuration. Based on the advances in the bibliography and the analysis of a varied set of sources, let us assume that the legislative projects and interventions of the PDCs were nurtured by partisan guidelines, the internal Humanism and Liberation (H&L) line and the personal perspectives that reflect the trajectories built in different spaces of militancy. We believe that most of his proposals did not materialize when colliding with the barriers imposed by his low parliamentary weight and the policies of the Executive Power. Likewise, at times, the initiatives of the PDC legislators have been the cause of internal tensions and conflicts that have contributed to weakening a minority party that ended up fracturing in 1988
