Abstract

The recent beatification of the Zenta Martyrs has motivated the historical and historiographical analysis presented in this article. Political stages are explained at different scales of analysis: global, monarchical, regional and local. For this purpose, recently developed specialized bibliography is used. An analysis of the subjects from a connected perspective is also included to explain the weave of links that supported the action of Juan Antonio Solinas and Pedro Ortíz de Zárate
